Communications Project Officer

About the Opportunity

The Communications Project Officer will work within the NBMPHN Communications team to coordinate and implement major communications project/s. It will involve identifying appropriate communications channels and working with key stakeholders to disseminate information about initiatives that promote local mental health, social and emotional wellbeing and suicide prevention initiatives. 

This position is being offered in both a full-time and part-time capacity and is funded until June 2020. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding. 

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has experience in implementing communications plans with a proven ability to draft high quality communications content for media, publication and digital media. Our ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and possess a high level of efficiency, initiative and attention to detail. To be successful in this role you will need the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
