Mental Health Month

We are committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of the people in our community and this October, we are supporting Mental Health Month.

We have a role to play as a direct provider and funder of services, and as an influencer of primary care, to ensure that the mental health and wellbeing of the people in our region is valued and supported. We want to ensure that mental health support is accessible and protected so that our community can universally receive the highest quality care, in the right place, at the right time.

Sometimes, you may know that you need help or support but you don't know where to start. When you are feeling down, stressed or anxious reaching out can often feel overwhelming. We offer a range of community-based mental health services that are free to access for people of all ages. Here is a helpful list of some of the different services and resources available in our community.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. If your life or the life of someone you know is in danger, call emergency services on 000.
