What is this service?
The Bondi Incident Response Program provides mental health support if you have been affected by the incident that occurred at Bondi Beach on 14 December 2025.
This free program offers short-term support to help you and your family manage the emotional and psychological impacts of the event.
Support is flexible and tailored to your individual needs. You will be connected with appropriate services, provided guidance moving forward and offered practical support.
The program focuses on helping you feel supported, safe and connected to the care you need.

Eligibility
You may be eligible for this service if you live in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow or Penrith areas, and:
- are 8 years or older
- have been directly or indirectly affected by the Bondi incident
- are experiencing distress or would like support following the event
Funding
This service is funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
Referrals
A referral from a GP is required to access this service. Speak with your GP to discuss whether this service is suitable for you. GPs can find more information and referral details via HealthPathways.
