RACGP Faculty Board Nominations Now Open

17 July 2018

Nominations for the Nepean Blue Mountains representative on the NSW & ACT Faculty Board for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) are now open, with applications closing on 25 July. The position is for two years, and the state faculties have an advisory role to the National Board.

Dr Sylvia Ireland has been on the NSW & ACT Faculty Board for the past 10 years and will finish her six-year tenure as the Nepean Blue Mountains representative on 17 August. Dr Ireland invites you to contact her via email if you have questions about this position.

Dr Ireland says of the position, “Although there is a learning curve, it is good to know how the wheels of the college turn, who does what and have a say on some issues that come up."

There is opportunity to represent the college at numerous events and meetings as well as consider membership of various committees. Reimbursement of mileage and overnight accommodation, if required, is paid for by the college.”

Further information is available on the RACGP website.
