What is this service?
Youth Enhanced Support Service can provide you with free outreach mental health support service if you are a young person 12 – 25 years old and are experiencing, or at risk of developing, complex mental health challenges.
This free service can help strengthen your wellbeing, build independence and stay connected with your community. Support is tailored to your individual needs and, where appropriate, includes parent and carer involvement.
This service provides holistic care that may include:
- psychological support and therapeutic interventions
- social and wellbeing support
- peer support
- help with education or employment
- psychiatric care
Appointments are flexible and can be delivered in-person, online, or through outreach.

Eligibility
You may be eligible for the service if you:
- are 12 – 25 years old
- live in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury or Penrith areas
- are experiencing, or may be at risk of developing, complex mental health challenges
Appointments can be flexible and may include in-person, online or outreach sessions.

This service is funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

Referrals
You can refer yourself to this service by contacting the service directly or attend as a walk-in during opening hours. Please check the service hours or contact the provider before attending. A referral can also be made by a GP, other health provider, family/carer or friends.
