What is this service?
This free service can support your child’s speech and language by providing access to a speech therapist for primary school students. Therapists can conduct in-school assessments, provide one-on-one therapy, group sessions, early screening for speech sound disorders and phonological awareness and assist with referrals to other specialists if needed.
The program also provides training for teachers and learning support officers so that schools are better equipped to support students with communication challenges.
