Dr Rombola has been a Director on the Wentworth Healthcare Board since 2013 and brings a wealth of healthcare experience to the role. He has worked as a GP in Windsor for over 25 years including providing services to a men's rehabilitation centre, and to a number of Residential Aged Care Facilities in the Hawkesbury.

He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a founding committee member of the Hawkesbury Doctor’s Network.
As a local GP, Dr Rombola understands firsthand some of the healthcare challenges facing patients and health professionals in the area.
Dr Rombola said, “In taking over this role, I am keen to continue our organisation’s focus of supporting the delivery of accessible, high quality and integrated healthcare to the people living in our region, and advocating for both the needs of our community and the needs of our healthcare professionals.”
Outgoing Chair, Dr Andrew Knight, leaves the Board in November after serving over seven years as a Director.
“I would like to thank Andrew for his contribution to our organisation, and in particular for his leadership over the last four years as Board Chair,” said Dr Rombola.
Lizz Reay, CEO of Wentworth Healthcare said, “Dr Rombola has a strong history with our organisation and we are excited to have his skills and experience at the helm. Under his leadership, we look forward to continuing our work to improve the health outcomes of our region.”
