Registered Nurse

Riverview Medical Practice is looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support their growing practice.

About the Role:

This role offers stability, flexibility, and the opportunity to develop your clinical skills within a supportive general practice setting. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care across a range of general practice nursing duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• IV cannulation and support for infusion treatments
• Administration of childhood, adult, and travel immunisations
• Wound care and dressings
• Assisting GPs with procedures
• Chronic disease management support
• Health assessments and care planning
• ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical duties
• Patient education and follow-up care

About You:

You are a confident and adaptable RN who enjoys hands-on clinical work and thrives in a team-based primary care environment.

Essential:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experienced in immunisation delivery
• Strong clinical and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and expand clinical skills

Desirable:

• Experience in general practice or primary care
• Demonstrated experience and confidence in IV cannulation (advantageous but not required — training can be provided)
• Interest in preventative or lifestyle medicine
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
