What is this service?
You can access this free service if you are 12 – 25 years old and are experiencing a mental health crisis or significant emotional distress.
Through this program, a clinician will work with you to provide immediate support, help you navigate the crisis and connect you with ongoing services if needed. The focus is on stabilising your situation, building coping strategies and linking you with longer-term care where appropriate.
Youth Plus can support you if you are experiencing:
- impulsive or self-destructive behaviour
- changing emotions and strong, overwhelming feelings
- difficulties with identity and sense of self
- thoughts or feelings related to suicide or self-harm
The service offers both in-person and telehealth sessions. This is not an emergency service. If a life is in danger, call Triple Zero (000) immediately.

You’ll benefit if you:

- need more immediate support than primary mental healthcare can offer
- want short-term, structured support from a trained clinician
- need help connecting with longer-term services
The service helps reduce risk, build stability and improve access to appropriate follow-up care.
