Media Statement – Minister for Health and Aged Care and MP for Lindsay visit Penrith Head to Health

We were pleased to greet the Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon Greg Hunt, and MP for Lindsay, Melissa McIntosh at the Penrith Head to Health Centre today to highlight the important work the centre is doing for the community.
There has undoubtedly been an increased need for mental health services, particularly over the past few months as the effects of multiple disasters take its toll on communities, their wellbeing and their mental health. It’s important to see additional health services across the region during these times.
The centre provides a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for individuals experiencing emotional or psychological distress, and the loved ones and carers who support them.
