HealthPathways is a free online health information portal for healthcare professionals in our region and it is now available!

HealthPathways is intended to be used during patient consultations. It provides information on how to assess and manage medical conditions, and how to request timely input from specialist services. The portal is not designed to be used by patients or general community members.

The HealthPathways website allows healthcare professionals to:

  • enter the patient’s condition or suspected illness.
  • access symptom outlines and management options.
  • access information on how to refer patients to the most appropriate local services and specialists.

Developing New Pathways

A key component of this integration in HealthPathways are Clinical Working Groups, where Specialists, GPs, and other subject experts discuss regional issues affecting the health outcomes of patients.

Following the Clinical Working Groups, pathways are then developed jointly by a GP and a Subject Matter Expert before undergoing a two-step review process prior to publication on our HealthPathways website.

We invite GPs to participate in either Clinical Working Groups or to be reviewers of completed pathways. If you are interested in getting involved, please use the form below.

You can also use the form below to request access to HealthPathways.

I have an enquiry:

Would you like to be a part of the HealthPathways Clinical Working Group or review new pathways?:

If yes, which of the following Clinical Working Group topics for 2018 are you interested in?:

Please enter the values shown below*:
