Importance of Data Quality

19 December 2017

The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) has released guidelines on the importance of data quality.

The introduction of digital health may involve organisations sharing patient and clinical information electronically with other healthcare providers. Data shared by your organisation and data you receive from other healthcare organisations may be relied upon for clinical decision making. ADHA has recommended that as part of your organisation's planning for digital health, you should design and implement effective arrangements for maintaining quality patient records.

Further information regarding data quality can be found on the ADHA website.
