Join us for our second 2022 meeting of the
Mental Health Professionals Network.
A complex relationship exists between co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health. Our expert speaker Dr Chris Davis understands these complexities well and invites you to join for a presention on the topic of Improving Access to Home Alcohol Withdrawal via Telehealth.
Chris’s presentation will cover the following:
- setting up a telehealth detox service from scratch
- clinical protocol for providing a safe home detox using telehealth assessments only
- 3-month outcomes
- opportunities for scaling geographically and to other substances.
General Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Community Workers, and other Allied Health Professionals are welcome to attend.

What is the Mental Health Professionals Network (MHPN)?
The MHPN is an opportunity to connect with your peers whilst collectively improving interdisciplinary mental health practice and collaborative care within our region. Held four times a year, meetings can assist to provide peer support, build referral pathways, talk with expert speakers, address service gaps, and share your successes in the field.
With a full schedule of quarterly meetings set out for 2022 and key speakers lined up, you can attend on a single evening or enjoy multiple events in this series of engaging discussions planned.
