Passionate about Helping Patients with Obesity?

Are you passionate about improving the health of patients with obesity? Then register your practice in the University of NSW's Help-GP Trial.

What is it?

An 18 month study led by Professor Mark Harris combining mobile technology, telephone coaching, health checks and GP reviews for patients with obesity.

What's involved?

Online training for GPs and practice nurses. Two practice nurse visits, followed by two GP visits for obese patients and the use of a clinical audit tool to monitor progress. CPD pointsand payment for participation are available.

Is your practice eligible?

To be eligible your practice must use Best Practice or Medical Director software, have a practice nurse on staff and be located in one of the following suburbs:

  • Cambridge Park, Colyton, Cranebrook, Kingswood, North St Marys, Penrith, South Penrith, St Clair, St Marys, Werrington, Werrington County or Cambridge Gardens.
