Building Nurse Capacity Project - Applications Open

11 October 2018

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? Want to learn new skills and knowledge so you can deliver a new model of care?

The Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA) are looking for nurses working in a range of primary healthcare settings to participate in the Building Nurse Capacity Project.

Nurses play a central role in the delivery of team-based and multi-disciplinary care, particularly for patients with chronic and complex conditions. This Project supports strengthening the capacity, role and utilisation of nurses, to address the healthcare needs of local communities.

The Project will support 35 nurses, and their primary healthcare organisation, in two 18-month tranches. Grant funding of $10,000, will be paid in milestone payments over the course of the Project to successful primary healthcare organisation applicants.

For more information and to apply visit APNA's website. Applications close Monday 3 December 2018.
