About the Opportunity

The Project Officer - Community Development/Mental Health will work as a part of the Nepean Blue Mountains PHN Mental Health Team. This role will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the implementation of the Empowering Communities Initiative targeting drought-affected regions within the Nepean Blue Mountains LGA.

This position is full-time and is funded until June 2020. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding. 


We are looking for someone who has experience in a community development role with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of community, mental health and social issues. Our ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, solid project management skills and a strong level of attention to detail. Key to this role is the possession highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to speak well in public.
