The Role

Position Title:

Digital Communications Officer

Contract Type:

Full time (part time considered for the right applicant – minimum 4 days per week).

Contract Length:

This position is being offered on a maximum term contract and is funded until December 2025.

Location:

Kingswood, NSW (hybrid work opportunities may be considered upon application in line with our Work from Home Policy).

Remuneration: 

From $87,505 to $90,569* (potential maximum grossed up salary equivalent $95,881 - $98,944**)
*Dependent on skills and experience
**Based on NFP salary packaging tax benefits (which may be subject to criteria)

About:

  • Maintain the organisation’s social media calendar, develop social content, and monitor social media activities.
  • Be responsible for Wentworth Healthcare websites and website support.
  • Develop and coordinate email blasts for key stakeholder groups.
As the Digital Communications Officer, you will use your excellent writing skills to translate sometimes complex information into more simple and succinct language. You will draw upon your experience in website management, email marketing and social media to educate and engage with our healthcare audience. 

You will coordinate the social media calendar and developing social content. Your strong web management expertise will enable you to collaborate with our programs internally to continually improve the website capability and online experience for our customers. You will work closely with the Communications Team and our internal stakeholders to ensure that our email campaigns are delivered on time and are as effective as they can be.

Selection Requirements:

Essential
  • Excellent written communications skills, with an ability to translate complex information into simple, succinct language (supported by examples of your previous work).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing, coordinating, producing, and publishing high quality website content in a professional environment, and with using Google Analytics for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining social channels, including writing, editing, creating paid ads, and scheduling content, using video, graphic design, and written content skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of online systems/software used for digital campaign delivery (e.g., Mailchimp and Dynamics 365) and the management of subscriber lists.
  • Ability to make well developed judgements and operate within broad parameters.  Take responsibility within the context of self-directed work outcomes.
  • The ability to develop project outcomes in line with stream and team timelines with consideration to multiple inputs.
  • Proven ability to utilise information technology tools in particular the Microsoft suite to an intermediate level.

Desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in communications or digital media.
  • Experience using InDesign and/or Canva to create digital assets for website and social media.
