Suzi is the Deputy Manager, Support Packages - Ageing for The Benevolent Society and also the Deputy Manager at Mirrabooka Village. The Benevolent Society provides the Short Term Restorative Care Program in the Nepean region. The program aims to provide a multidisciplinary team approach toward early intervention for older people in the Nepean region who may be experiencing difficulties with every day tasks.
- Examine the benefits for patients of the Short Term Restorative Care Program
- Define the referral criteria for access to the Short Term Restorative Care Program
- Describe how to refer patients through the My Aged Care portal
In addition, Sarah Maguire, the NBMLHD's new McGrath Breast Care Nurse, will explain how she can support patients through their diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
