Overview

GPs and Practices nurses are invited to have a say in the development of a 10 year plan for health services based in the community.

While inpatient care is a main focus for Nepean Blue Mountain Local Health District (NBMLHD) it also provides non-admitted health services in Community Health Centres, people’s homes and as outreach. NBMLHD is currently developing a 10 year Plan for these community based services.

The Plan will be a guide for future planning of community-based services and infrastructure aligned with changing patterns of community needs and expectations.

As part of the Plan’s development, NBMLHD is consulting widely and would welcome the opportunity to understand GP and Practice Nurses views on these public health services.

GPs and Practices Nurses can be remunerated for their attendance and participation. Instructions for claiming this participation payment will be emailed upon registration.
