A location for headspace Katoomba

After extensive consultation, we are excited that Parramatta Mission has secured a suitable site for headspace Katoomba at 37 Waratah Street.

The location is easily accessible for young people, being close to public transport, local shops and cafes.

Securing this site is a significant step forward in the work to establish the service, which has continued persistently despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the next couple months, Parramatta Mission will continue to engage with young people in the Blue Mountains community to ensure that the refurbishment of the site is youth friendly and creates a safe an welcoming environment for young people.

The headspace Katoomba Satellite will deliver early and effective mental health intervention through a range of youth friendly services that are already making a difference to the lives of thousands of young people across Australia.
