I am pleased to announce that Mr Bruce Turner was appointed as a Director to the Wentworth Healthcare Board on Wednesday. He is a long term Penrith resident and brings a wealth of skills and experience.
His diverse career spans commercial, merchant and central banking, manufacturing, transport, energy and health sectors, and public administration. He has worked throughout the Nepean, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Lithgow region, as well as in North America, Europe, Asia, and across Australia. He retired as ATO Chief Internal Auditor in 2012 where he was Penrith’s senior executive.
Mr Turner is board member for Western Sydney Local Health District and the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia, and sits on six audit and risk committees. In 2015, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to public administration through contributions to governance and risk management practices, and to the profession of internal auditing.
He brings to our Board a particular interest in shaping programs that support Aboriginal health, wellbeing, and employment, and on behalf of all our Directors, I would like to extend to him a warm welcome.
